Year 4 - Lionel Class - Homework

(Due Thursday 27th March)

Create a piece of digital art on the theme 'Identity' - Identity means what makes you you.

Firstly, take or find a picture of yourself - make sure you are alone in the picture. Remove the background using the removebg website below:

Simply upload your photo, wait for the background to be removed and then download - choose 'Preview Free'.

If you need help to remember what we did in the Studio, there are instructions below. Use your photo with the background removed. The words that you should use should be words of things that are important to you or about you.

For example, I might use the words - Welsh, Scottish, Family, Books, Reading, Art, Ice Hockey (Remember to use ~ to keep two words together) as these are all things that make me who I am. I have added more to my list for the image below.

Don't forget to choose tones of two harmonious colours. Harmonious colours are next to each other on the colour wheel.

You could also see what it looks like without changing the colours - this will keep the colours of the original photo as shown below. Decide what effect you like the best.

When you have created your digital art, name it 'IdentityYourname' so mine was called 'IdentityMrmac' and download as Free - JPEG.
