Croeso i Blwyddyn 5
Welcome to year 5's Homework page.
Please find below the work for your children to complete at home during the school closure period.
While children are unable to attend school it is still expected that they continue with their learning at home. In light of this, we expect children to complete all the activities provided in the space of a week. Here is a suggested daily timetable for your children to follow;
30 minutes of reading (with an adult where possible) followed by 1x literacy task and 1x maths task.
We also recommend 30 minutes of physical activity and for children to take their time to practise the spellings that have been provided.
Also, over the period of a week, we expect the children to complete 2 topic activities.
Children may also access work by logging onto Hwb and accessing Microsoft Teams. This can be done by clicking Office 365 and then selecting the Teams tab. This will then take them to their class page. Here they can access work given to them by Mr Hunter or Mr Gray which can be marked as they are working on it.
Any questions of problems please email your child's class teacher.

Head Boy and Girl applications.
As the year is drawing to a close, it is now important to start thinking about next year. Part of this process is applying for the prestigious Head Boy and Head Girl roles. The Head Boy and Head Girl at Lansdowne Primary School play a vital role in the life of the school. They are the public face of the school, representing the school in a number of public situations. They may be required to speak to groups of parents, students and teachers (with support).
We strongly advise that all pupils submit an application form for these positions as it is an opportunity that is not to be missed!
Please see the instructions below for writing your application. All applications need to be sent to Mr. McInnes by Friday 3rd July 2020. email@example.com
If you require any help with your applications please email Mr Hunter or Mr Gray.
Joy of Moving Festival
