Good morning!

Imagine you are standing in front of this house. What do you hear in front of you?

Write a paragraph for what you can hear.

Example:

Edging closer to try and find a path, my ears listen to every movement around me. A shiver runs down my spine as I hear the terrifying noise of a howl in the near distance. Was that a wolf? I take a deep breath and focus again on finding the path. The wind whistles past me making the bushes shake and the dry, crispy leaves dance around me. I focus on the small breaths that leave my mouth but all I can hear is my heart hammering furiously in my ears.

Think of ways that you can describe what you might be able to hear. I am looking for exciting vocabulary that might make me feel scared. I want to be able to close my eyes and hear all of the sounds that you are describing. Practice doing this with an adult when you have thought of a good sentence. Tell it to an adult and ask them to close their eyes and imagine hearing what you are describing. Use exciting adjectives(describing words). Don't forget to include capital letters, full-stops, exclamation marks (!) and a question mark (?).

Cant wait to read these paragraphs guys!
