A Healthy plate
Discuss with your child what 'being healthy' means. Explain that being healthy means eating healthy foods, drinking healthy drinks and keeping our bodies healthy through exercise.

In your exercise books can you create your own healthy plate?
Draw a circle approximately 7inches in diameter. Divide the plate up into the sections shown in the 'My Plate' game (fruit, vegetables, grains, protein, dairy and fats and sugars) Draw a range of foods that you would like to put onto your plate making sure there aren't too many sugary treats!
Daffodils group - Label each food on your plate
Roses group - Label each food on your plate
Sunflowers group - Label each food on your plate and write a list of physical activities to keep your bodies healthy.
Tulips group - Label each food on your plate and write a list of physical activities to keep your bodies healthy.
