Unbelievably this is the last week of half term. Well done for all of your hard work that has been sent. Literacy this week will be focussed on a recap of some basic skills and some activities just for fun.

Todays activity is looking at adjectives, we have practiced these whilst in school. An adjective is a word that is used to help describe something.

There is a short video clip opposite to help remind you of how they are used.

At the bottom of the page you will find an activity sheet, you need to copy out the passages and add in some interesting adjectives.



We will have a lok at nouns today. A noun is a word that names a person, place, thing or idea.

A simple sentence below shows examples of highlighted nouns.

Today we wil be learning about verbs. A verb is a word that tells us of an action that is happening. Some simple examples of a verb are; reading, sleeping, walking, laughing.
