All groups to complete Big Maths Addition Sheet & Big Maths CLIC sheet. Click on images below to open
Stars - The idea of the Big Maths Addition sheet is to develop mental calculations. Once you have been successful in completing these weekly sheets correctly, begin to try and complete all calculations in a set time. Start initially with 3 or 2 minutes and as your mental calculation skills improve reduce the time each week. The Final goal is to be able to complete these sheets within 30 seconds. The sums are written in different orders each week!
Hexagons - As stars except perhaps start off with completing in 5 or 4 minutes and slowly reduce the time over the next few weeks.
Diamonds & Hearts - use objects or number line to help solve additions with no time limit.
