  • Create a 'WANTED' poster for the wolf in your Home Learning books
  • First think of adjectives (describing words) for the wolf - is he scruffy, hairy, old?
  • Next draw your wolf and write about what he is like.

Stars - If you did well last week doing Big Maths addition sheet then ask a family member to time you for 2 minutes to see if you can complete all the additions in this time. Let me know how you did. 

Hexagons - As stars except perhaps start off with completing in 4 minutes and slowly reduce the time over the next few weeks.

Diamonds & Hearts - use objects or number line to help solve additions with no time limit.

Topic

 

Art  - Create a painting in the style of Kyffin Willams

 

  • Think of somewhere you have been in the countryside – look at photos and think about the shapes and colours you can see. You can find images on the internet or in a book if you haven't been anywhere.
  • Select the colours - use a maximum of 5 different colours and use lighter and darker colours to change the tone 
  • Add sand or flour to the paint to thicken it.
  • Decide on the best tool to use to spread the paint on the paper  - will you use an palate knife, cardboard, spoon?
  • Create your countryside landscape painting
  • Take a photo of your work and email it to your teacher so we can put it up on the website.
  • Have a great time
