Welcome to Year 1's Home Learning page
Here you will find a range of activities updated twice a week that will help develop and reinforce your child's skills and knowledge while they are away from school.
Some activities will require your support and others your child can try to complete independently, although it would be good if you could explain what they need to do first and check they are doing it right as they go along.
The expectation is that the activities are completed on a daily basis and from our experience, the morning is definitely when the children work best. We suggest that you do the Literacy and Maths in the morning and then complete the Topic task in the afternoon.
We would love to see what the children get up to and how they get on in the tasks and you can send any photos or completed activities to our email addresses below. Also, if you have any queries we will try to support you.

Remember, the thing your child will remember most is the time you spend with them, so have some fun and enjoy!
We are so pleased to see some of your hard work, keep sending them in.
