Number sequences are looking for a pattern and filling in the missing numbers.

Example 2, 4,  ____, 8, 10, ____ ,_____ I notice that the difference between 2 and 4 is 2 so my pattern is going up in 2's. My missing numbers are 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14,

Wednesday 10th February 2021

Today we will be adding or subtracting 10.

We use place value to help us with our numbers. eg Our fact families we completed last week is part of this.

We will be using TENS and ONES.

   T   O

   2   6

+1   0

=3   6      When we add 10 the only number that changes is in the 10's column. The ones column stays the same.

Now I would like you to complete the following sheet.

Remember to read the questions carefully as you may not always be adding.
