Today we are going to be looking for number sequences.
Number sequences are looking for a pattern and filling in the missing numbers.
Example 2, 4, ____, 8, 10, ____ ,_____ I notice that the difference between 2 and 4 is 2 so my pattern is going up in 2's. My missing numbers are 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14,
TIP number sequences don't always start at the beginning and count up. Now complete the following:

We use place value to help us with our numbers. eg Our fact families we completed last week is part of this.
